Configuration of Wireless LAN Built-in

Configuration of Wireless LAN Built-in:

Create a wireless network connected to a company's SSID (internet access and LAN infrastructure) connected to a LAN with the same IP subnet as the X0 and SSID host (only internet without internal network).

You can use VAP to create groups in your office, on campus, and more. For general employees. It determines who has access to all networks until the connection is secured. You can create groups as hosts only for internet access and protect the network without access to the local area. In Bridge mode you can create wireless networks on the same subnet as the LAN interface to improve communication between routing networks.

  • Configure the W0 (WLAN) interface on a single LAN subnet
  • Create a new host area
  • Create a new VLAN for the host area
  • Add DHCP scope to VAP basement
  • Create SSIDs for companies and guest users on high-level access sites
  • Enter SSIDs in one access block
  • Insert one VAP and wireless radio

Using a wireless LAN (WLAN) subnet, one wireless radio interface (W0) can be divided into multiple network networks, each with its own set of settings. Thanks to the WLAN subnet solution, each VAP has its own interface, even if it has an 802.11 radio.

Log in to the SonicWall control page.
Find network lens; Configure the W0 interface on the right.
